My journey in barbering started at the tender age of 11 as I began practicing line-ups on myself before church and school. After many failed attempts at correcting my very crooked hairline over time, I began to improve. Many of my peers began to notice and asked me for haircuts after school before football practice. By this time, I was in high school and your appearance meant everything. I found myself week after week giving fellow teammates haircuts before games too. Little did I know this newfound hobby would carry me all the way through college!
My collegiate career began at East Stroudsburg University in 2012 as a student-athlete where I majored in Digital Media Technology and played for the Warrior Football Team. It was during this time where I really began to progress as a barber. I really enjoyed cutting fellow teammates and friends on campus. It gave me a great sense of accomplishment to give someone a quality haircut they loved and could show off at a party on the weekend. I cut in just about every dorm imaginable, and no place was off-limits to get a haircut. I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree later in 2017 and decided to pursue a career as a barber full-time.
My first opportunity to cut in a barbershop came not long after I graduated. I started working as an apprentice at Legacy Barber Shop in East Stroudsburg, Pa. The opportunity I had there to learn and sharpen my skills was an honor, and I worked hard to improve with each client that walked through the door. All the hard work would eventually pay off as I achieved my goal of getting my barber license in 2019.
I take pride in my work and provide the best service I can to all who choose to sit in my chair. My philosophy when it comes to the service that I provide is that it’s about what you want. Although I am the professional, I make it my goal to accomplish whatever look someone may ask for. Whether you want enhancements, no enhancements, bangs cut off, or lined up, I want the service to ultimately be to my client's satisfaction. Every detail matters, and I want all who choose to sit with me to feel appreciated and valued.
